CAPE WITH HOOD

Cape with hood (Fig. 149) of the waterproof fabric is designed for wear in wet weather. The cloak is worn on top of dresses and silt-coat.
Sew capes with slit front in the middle, with holes for the hands.
The drawing capes need the following measurements: length of Cape 60cm; length capes at the shoulder seam to the neck 65 cm; back width 20 cm; neck circumference 20 cm; shoulder circumference of 64 cm
These measurements are designed for children aged 1 year for children older than 1 year added to each measure 2 cm each year.
Drawing capes consists of a drawing of the back and front.

Drawing back

The drawing of the back need the left side of the sheet of paper to draw a right angle with vertex at point A (Fig. 150).
The first auxiliary line. From point A down the vertical axis to delay period equal to the length of the back cushion plus 1 cm, and put a point B. From point B to hold the right horizontal line.
The second auxiliary line. To build this line should point down vertically to postpone the cut is about 1/3 of the neck circumference plus 2 cm, and put a point B. From point b to hold the right horizontal line.
Line of the neck. From the point A to the right horizontally to postpone the cut, equal to 1/6 of the circumference of the neck plus 1 cm. Obtained point to raise up 1 cm and denoted by the letter G. Also from point A to postpone 1 cm and down vertically. The resulting point is connected to point G by a smooth curve line, which will be the line of the neck.
The line of shoulder and side sections.Point To the right horizontally to delay period equal to half the width of the back, and put a point D. From point D to hold up the dotted vertical line to the intersection with the upper horizontal line. From the point of intersection to postpone 2 cm down vertically and put an end D. Then point D to connect with the point G a straight line which is the line of the shoulder cut.
Further, from the point To the right horizontally to postpone the cut, equal to 1/4 the circumference of the shoulder plus 1 cm, and put the point E. From point E up to make a vertical line of length 2 cm and put an end E. Point E to connect with point D, as shown in the figure. Further from point B postpone segment equal to 1/4 of the width of the Cape bottom, and put the point Z. the Width of the capes do on request, for children under the age of 1 year - 90 cm and Then connect the point F with the point A a straight line.
The bottom line is. From the point G down through the shoulder line to postpone the length of the capes and put an end G. Point I be connected to point B of a smooth convex line, which is the bottom line.
Line the middle. It is indicated by the vertical line AB.

Drawing shelves

The drawing of the front right side of the sheet of paper need to draw a right angle, the vertex of which is denoted by the letter A (Fig. 151).
The first auxiliary line. From point A down the vertical axis to delay period equal to the length of the cushion plus 2cm and put in point B. From point B to hold the left horizontal line.
The second auxiliary line. From point A down the vertical to postpone the cut is about 1/3 of the circumference of the neck plus 3 cm and put in point B. From point b to hold the left horizontal line.
Line of the neck. From the point A to the left horizontal to postpone the cut, equal to the neck circumference plus 2 cm, and put the point G. from point A to postpone the same cut vertically and put an end to D. then Connect points D and G by a curve.
The line of shoulder and side of the slice. Draw a horizontal dotted line at a distance of 3 cm from a line passing through points A and G. Then draw an arc with center at point g of solution, equal to the length of the shoulder back, and at the intersection of the arc with a dotted line to the supply point. GE-Sloping line is the line of the shoulder cut.
Point To the left horizontally to postpone the cut, equal to 1/4 of the shoulder plus 2 cm, and put the point J. From point W defer up to 4 cm and put an end G.
From point B horizontally to the left to delay period, equal to 1/4 of the width of the Cape bottom, plus 3 cm, and put an end 3. Then point 3 to connect with the point G a straight line, which will be the line side of the slice.
The bottom line is. From point G on the line of shoulder and side of the slice to postpone the length of this cut back and put an end 3₁. Point 3₁ to connect with B a smooth curve line.
Line side. A horizontal line of the Brillouin zone to continue to the right 2 cm the neckline, continue to the right horizontally at 2 cm Obtained points connect a straight line, which will be the Board edge.
The line for hands. From point A down the vertical to postpone the cut is about 1/3 of the segment AB plus 2 cm, and put the point I. From this point horizontally to the left to delay 5 - 6 cm and put an end I.
From the point I to hold the angled line as shown in the figure. The length of the inclined lines 10-12 refer to

the Drawing of the collar

Collar constructed according to the drawing of the collar of the jacket (see Fig. 136).

Drawing the hood

The drawing of the hooded capes only need one measure - the depth of the bottom.
On the right side of the sheet of paper to draw a rectangle whose length is equal to 3/4 of the bottom depth plus 5 cm and the width is 3/4 the depth of the bottom minus 1 see the Corners of the rectangle are designated by letters of ABHV (Fig. 152).
Line tuck. From point G to the right horizontally to postpone the cut, 1/3 cut BG equal to plus 2 cm, and put a point D. From point D to defer upward of 7-9 cm, then horizontally to the right 1 cm and put an end D. To connect T point with the point D a straight line.
From point D to the right horizontally to postpone 2 see the resulting point is connected to point D a straight line.
Line the outer edge. From left to postpone 2 cm and place the point of E. Then from point B horizontally to the right to postpone 1 cm, obtained from point to defer down vertically 1 cm and mark the point with the letter F. Points F and g to connect by a curve.
Line of the neck. From point W to the left horizontally to postpone the cut is equal to the circumference of the neck front and back (measuring in the drawing) plus 2 cm From the received point to defer up vertically 1 cm and place the point 3. To connect the dots between the W and 3 a curve, which will be the line of the neck.
The seam line. To build this line need to connect point b with point 3 with a straight line.
Line the middle. It is indicated by the horizontal line AB.
The angle of the hood (angle In). It can be left straight or round.

Cutting and sewing hooded Cape

When cutting capes, hooded, fabric fold double common thread. Allowances need to do the following: 1.5 cm at the shoulder sections of collar and hood, 8 cm at the edge of a Board and 5 - 6 cm on the side of cut.
Tailoring cloak is very simple. Shoulder and side sections connecting the wide lapped seam.
Slits for hands handle bars, which pritachivajut on the front side of the front. Collar stachivaya in the neck as well as collar pajamas.
The hood is treated with a lining that color should be combined with the top fabric.
For fastening the hood at neckline Cape-sew buttons: one in the middle back, two on the sides of the shelves.
