The monitoring of physico-chemical and physico-mechanical properties of tissues

In terms of accelerated development of the chemical industry is increasingly important use in the garment industry, fabrics from chemical fibers. In the processing of these tissues is necessary to consider their special properties that differ considerably from the properties of wool, cotton and linen fabrics, and to make the necessary adjustments in product designs, manufacturing technology and process of wet-heat treatment;Therefore, for correct use of the fabrics in the clothing industry and the establishment of the regime of processing in accordance with the fiber composition of the necessary laboratory tests of the fabric. Furthermore, the definition of quality fabrics should not be limited to identifying only the appearance of fabric defects.

For laboratory methods (most accurate) assessment of the quality of the tissues using special devices and equipment, and a certain technique. 

Check the physico - chemical properties of the fabric "fornis" produced by the method of CNIISHP and CNEIBP. The test is to determine the effect of wrinkle resistance of the fabric and the observance of the textile factory mode of impregnation. 

To determine the physico - mechanical properties of tissues are used in the following equipment and devices:

  • tensile machine RM-3 for testing of thread, yarn;

  • device PP-4 to establish the strength of color of fabric to friction; 
  • the psychrometer to determine the humidity of air;

  • devices for determination of the creasing and shrinkage erasable tissues; 
  • instruments for testing fabric by nakatyvaet of the pile, determine the stiffness and topiramate; 
  • scales torsion W-1000, W-20, W-200; 
  • analytical balance WA-200 and a technical scale T-1000; 
  • microscope MBI-1; 
  • the twist tester, which untwist universal UK-2;
  • drying Cabinet SHS-150; 
  • centrifuge, weaving magnifier, iron with a thermostat, metal ruler, templates, apparatus and reagents for chemical analysis of fibers, etc.


Test materials produced according to the methods set out in current standard. 

For testing physical and mechanical properties from each party check the fabric select at least three samples with a size of 0,25 - 0,6 RM. m depending on the fabric width and type of tests. 

Physical-mechanical indicators for assessing the quality of tissues of all groups are: width, density per 10 cm warp and duck, weight of 1 m2, tensile strength, shrinkage at the tip, the strength of the color.
