The essence of composition

It is known that the closest related art of creating a costume is the art of architecture, as the basis of both is based on three main requirements: utility, durability and beauty. These requirements include the full range of issues related to art modeling costume and construction. The artist-designer, as an architect, enjoys certain artistic media and techniques in the composition of his work.One such artistic means is the design of buildings to suit different decorating elements and details to make the product more attractive and expressive. The architecture of this half-columns, pilasters (flat columns), ornamental friezes, etc. To suit the role of items, tools, decorations play various false finishes, embroidery, lace, cord, fittings etc.

Artistic image of clothing is the overall appearance of the models, expressing its specific purpose and the main idea that reflects reality. The composition of any work of art is subordinated to the task of the most vivid and complete disclosure of this image. The image of each model of clothes created by the artist, must be emotional and impressive, able to influence people.Clothing accompanies man everywhere and always, it affects his mood and performance, can instill in him a sense of confidence, dignity, optimism or, conversely, to enter in the oppressed, depressed condition.
Art images are created in the creative process, so they are the result of reflection and comprehension of reality, which is perceived by artists from various points of view and different displays in the model. The same life material (the phenomenon) as the source of the image may be differently transformed by the imagination of the artist and presented in a completely different, sometimes opposite in their nature, even in the case when the clothing has the same purpose.As an example, given the decision by two artists of the toilet for a festive celebration under the impression one of the outstanding achievements of our era of space flight.

However, it should be remembered that the work of the designer over the clothes and the whole suit must always be subordinated to the main - the creation of a convenient functional relation, it is vitally justified clothing and costume.
The art of composition is the artist's ability to see interesting and significant and to organize a separate, disparate components into a unified whole. The painter Kramskoy has expressed this idea as follows: "the Composition... it is impossible to learn until then, until the artist learns to observe and to notice in himself interesting and important. This is only the moment, his expression noticed on the merits; and when he realizes where the node of the ideas, then it remains to formulate and composition is a...".
