PANTS FOR INFANTS

The pants - part of set of clothes are recommended for children aged 4 - 5 months. and older.

The pants are usually sewn from the same fabric as the bras: chiffon, cotton, marshmallow, etc.

The size of the pants depend on the child's age and style.

The pants shown in Fig. 55, recommended for children 4 - 12 months. They are sewn from a single piece of fabric. They are comfortable to wear, easy to wash and iron.

When creating drawings of the pants use the same measurement for both length and width. Usually this measurement not exceeding 50 cm

Drawing pants

The drawing of the pants, you need to draw a right triangle with sides equal to 50 cm the Angles of a triangle are designated by letters A, B, C (Fig. 56).

Line the middle of the front. From the point In left to postpone 15 cm and place the point, Then from point G to drop a perpendicular to the intersection line of the WB.

The line of the cut. From the point of intersection of the middle line of the front line to delay the BW 12 cm to the left and put the point D. Then from point B to defer 15 cm and put a point E. the Segment ED split in half. From the points of division to carry out the perpendicular length of 9 cm At the end of the perpendicular to put a point Z. Then connect the points E, F of the curve ID line.

The belt line. From point R down vertically to postpone 2 see the resulting point connect point And a smooth curve line.

Line the middle of the back. Vertical line AB is a line mid-back.

In the drawing zone to draw a rectangle ABGW (Fig. 57) of length equal to the semicircle waist, width 2.5 - 3 cm mid-Line of the belt to denote the vertical line AB.

Cutting and sewing of pants

For cutting pants, take a square piece of fabric with sides equal to 72 cm, cut it into two triangles. From each triangle you can carve out pants. Then fold each triangle in half, connecting the sides the common thread. The pattern is applied to fabric by combining the mid-line of the back fold of the fabric (Fig. 58). The seam is equal to 1 cm Zone cuts out the common thread of fabric with a seam 0.5 cm.

Pants are sewn from a single piece of fabric. The pants do in the front with buttons, waist elastic band pave (see Fig. 55).

Tailoring is performed in the following sequence: first connect the middle of the front, which is applied one side of the front to another and scribbled; then placing the back part of the pants on the front so that the angle of the back coincides with the lower end of the line of mid front. The sides of the angle do on the fasteners from the front side to the recess between the legs.

The front closure and belt doing double or paving bake width 2 - 3 cm On the edges of the seat-back angle, overcast loops and buttons sewn to the lower part of the front.

The belt can be preteroti a weak rubber band or sewn to the belt buttons, with which the pants are attached to the bra.

The bottom of the pants is covered with bias binding width 2 - 2.5 cm

PANTIES

Panties (Fig. 59) sew for children 1 year and older. Panties tied on the buttons to the top or navigate through the waist weak gum.

In the drawing the panties use the following measurements: length panties 22 cm; thigh circumference 56 cm; waist circumference 50 cm

These measurements are designed for children 1 year of age.

Drawing panties

In the drawing the panties need to draw a rectangle ABGW (Fig. 60), one side (segment AB) is equal to the length of the panty and the other side (segment AB) - 1/4 thigh circumference.

The line of the cut. From point B horizontally to the right to defer a period equal to half cut BG minus 3 cm, and put a point D. From point G to defer up vertical cut, cut VG is equal to 1/3 plus 1 cm, and put a point in E. Then points E and D connect the straight dotted line; to postpone to a perpendicular drawn from the midpoint of segment DE, 2.5 cm up and draw through the obtained point and the points D and E in a concave curved line.

The waist line of the front halves of the panties. From point A to defer down vertically 1 cm. Obtained point to connect with a smooth curve from This curve will be the waistline of the front halves of the panties.

The waist line of the rear halves of the panties. From point A upwards vertically to postpone 2 see the resulting point is connected to point In a smooth curve. This curve is the waist line of the rear halves of the panties.

Line the middle. Video AB is a line of mid front and back halves of the panties.

The drawing belt panties should draw a rectangle ABGW (Fig. 61). Line the middle belt will be the line AB.

Cutting and sewing panties

When cutting the fabric fold width in half, the middle of the front and rear halves of the panties should be placed at the common thread (Fig. 62). Belt cutting the length of fabric in two parts. From the front of the belt should be 1.5 - 2 cm longer than the back.

The lining of the belt can be cut from a different cloth.

Seam: the line of the waist 3 cm; along the lines of the side seams 1 cm; along the lines of the neck 0.5 cm.

Sew the side sections of the lapped seam. The bottom of the sheathe oblique strip of cloth width of 2.5 cm, and the upper cut - cross strip width of 3 cm.

Belt pants do double.
