With the birth of my niece last month, newborn gifts are now on my mind these days. Here is the lesson for the manufacture of caps with the lace up for babies. I love to do and give these hatsbecause they are useful and practical. They're really cuter than a tiny hat on a small head.

Materials:

Knit fabrics: take 2 pieces of same fabric or two different fabrics.

This is a great project to use those pieces that are too big to throw away but too small to make a dress, top etc.
 

Fold each fabric in two layers, then fold again.
 

Sew together pieces 1 along the arc. Sew the 2 pieces together around the curved line, right sides together.

 Note: leave 5 cm sewn during the sewing part 2 (lining).
 

Now connect 1 and 2 parts and stitch along the raw edges, right sides together. Leave about 5 cm hole.
 

Using the hole, turn the whole thing inside out. Use the pencil for convenience.

Insert the fabric 2 inside the fabric 1.

Tie a knot on the cone of tissue 1.

The best part is that these hats do not have any internal seams disturbing your baby's skin. Enjoy your little one in a wonderful hat.
