Pajamas

PAJAMAS

Pajamas is sleepwear. Pajamas can sew for children from 6 months. and older.

Pajamas consists of a jacket and pants. In Fig. 82 and 83 are shown pajamas for girls and boys.

The drawing of pajamas for children at the age of 1 year, you need the following measurements: length of jacket 28 cm; width of the jacket 56 cm; sleeve length 22cm; sleeve width 24 cm; pants length 42 cm; waist circumference 50 cm; thigh circumference 56 cm

With increasing age of the children for one year adds 2 cm to each measurement of length and 4 cm to the width measurement.

Before you cut and sew you need to build a drawing pajamas. The blueprints you need to build for jackets and pants. The jacket consists of a back, shelves, two sleeves, collar and two cuffs. The pants consist of two front and two rear halves.

Drawing back

When creating drawings on a sheet of paper with the left hand need to draw a right angle, label it with the letter a (Fig. 84, see also Fig. 85).

The first auxiliary line. From point A down the vertical axis to delay period equal to the length of the jacket plus 1 cm, and put a point B. From point B to the right, draw a horizontal line that will line the bottom of the back.

The second auxiliary line. For this line from point A down the vertical to defer 3 cm and put a point B. From point b, draw a horizontal line that indicates the height of the shoulder.

Neck. From the point A to the right horizontally to postpone the cut, equal to 1/10 of the circumference of the chest minus 2 cm, and put the point G. from point A to postpone 1 cm and down vertically. The obtained point linking is a smooth slightly curved line from point G, thus forming a neck.

Line with the shoulder cut. Point To the right horizontally to postpone the cut, equal to 1/4 the circumference of the chest minus 2 cm, and put the point D. Further, the point D to connect a straight line with a point d, forming a line shoulder cut.

The line side of the slice. From point B to the right to defer the segment equal to 1/4 the circumference of the chest plus 1 cm. From the obtained point to draw a vertical line, which is to postpone the cut, equal to 1/2 of the length of the jacket plus 2. the Top of the line denoted by the letter E, which will point the top side of the slice.

Line openings. To connect point E with point D of the concave line, as shown in the figure.

The middle of the back is indicated by the vertical line AB.

Drawing shelves

In the right side of the sheet of paper to draw a right angle and put a point A (Fig. 85).

The first auxiliary line. From point A down the vertical axis to delay period equal to the length of the jacket plus 2 cm, and put a point B. From point B to hold the left horizontal line that will line the bottom of the jacket.

The second auxiliary line. From point A down the vertical to defer 3 cm and put a point B. From point b, draw a horizontal line that indicates the height of the shoulder.

Neck. From the point A to the left horizontal to postpone the cut, equal to the depth of the neckline of the back, and put the point as from point A to defer down the vertical segment equal to the segment AG plus 1 see Obtained point to connect with point d of the concave line, forming a neckline of the front.

The neckline may be square, round etc. To increase the neck needs to move along the line of the shoulder cut of the neckline on the 1 - 2 cm 3 - 5 cm through the middle, and back to extend the neck at the shoulder cut on the 1 2 see in this neck of the jacket can be sewed without a collar, but only for children older than 2 years and only in the summer (see Fig. 82). Shelf jacket lengthen for 4 to 6 cm to the right at the neckline and hem of the jacket. Plotting points to connect with a vertical line.

The line of the shoulder cut.Draw an arc of a solution equal to the length of the shoulder back, with center at point G. the Point of intersection of the arc with the horizontal line passing through a point In, denoted by the letter D. Point D connecting the straight line with the point G. This will be the line of the shoulder cut.

The line side of the slice. From point B horizontally to the left to delay period equal to 1/4 the circumference of the chest plus 2. Through the obtained point to draw a vertical line of length equal to 1/2 of the length of the jacket plus 2. the Top line denoted by point E.

the Line of openings. To connect point E with point D of the curve line, as shown in the figure.

Line the middle of the front. It is indicated by the vertical line AB.

Drawing sleeves

In the drawing (Fig. 86) the sleeves need to draw a rectangle ABGV, where the segments AB and VG is equal to the length of the sleeve, the segments AB and BG is the half width of the sleeves.

Line of the crown. From point To bottom vertically to postpone the cut is about 1/3 of the segment AB and place a point D. Connect point D with point A of the convex line, which will be the line of the top part.

The line side of the slice. From point G to the left horizontally to postpone 2 cm Obtained point to connect a straight line with point D. This will be the line side of the cut sleeves.

Drawing sleeve cuffs

The drawing (figure 87) cuffs need to draw a rectangle ABGV, one side of which is equal to half the width of the sleeve at the bottom and one 5 cm

Cut cuffs. From point G to defer 2.5 cm up the vertical. From the received point to delay 0.5 cm to the right horizontally and to put the point D. Then connect the points G and D by a straight line, which is also the line of cut cuffs.

The top line of the cuff. Connect point a with point D of a smooth concave line.

Line the middle of the cuff. It is indicated by the vertical line AB. Is cuffs cuffs can be simple, narrow cuffs. In the drawing these cuffs need to draw a rectangle with sides 7 cm and 3 cm

drawing of the collar

In the drawing (Fig. 88) of the collar should also draw a rectangle ABGV, one side of which is equal to half of the neck minus 0.5 cm, another side is 4 cm the length of the neck to take the drawing of the front and back.

The width of the collar is 4 cm

Neck. From point B up vertically to postpone 1 see the resulting point is connected to point G by a smooth curve line.

The lateral line of the collar. The horizontal line AB to the right to extend 2 cm beyond point V. the resulting point to connect a straight line with a place in

the middle of the collar. It is indicated by the vertical line AB.

Drawing pocket jacket

In the drawing (Fig. 89) the pocket should draw a quadrilateral with sides equal to 6 cm - 10 cm the angles of the quadrilateral be denoted by the letters A, B, G, and V. the dimensions of the pocket depend on its location and the age of the child. The pocket that is sew on the shelf the jacket at the top is smaller than the pocket that is sew at the bottom of the jacket.

The corners of the pocket at the bottom can be sharp or rounded. The front side pockets can be finished with binding or cross strip of the same or a different fabric, matching color with the main fabric.

In the middle of the upper pocket can be embroidered or sew a simple monogram.

The drawing of the rear halves of the pants

Drawing the front and rear halves pajama pants built on the same sheet of paper. In the drawing (Fig. 90) it is necessary to draw a rectangle ABGV, one side of which is equal to the length of the pants, and the other 1/3 of the waist circumference plus 3, see

Line stepper cut of the pants. From point B horizontally to the right to postpone the cut, 1/10 waist circumference plus 2 cm, and put a point D. From point A to defer down the vertical cut is about 1/3 of the circumference of the waist minus 4 cm, and put a point in E. Then connect point E with point D of a smooth concave line. This will be the line of step cut.

Line a medium slice. From the point A to the right horizontally to postpone the cut, 1/10 waist circumference minus 2 cm. the Obtained point linking is slightly convex line from point E. This will be the line of the middle seam. This line can extend up behind the line of the rectangle for a distance, equal to half of the segment between point a and the line of the middle seam. The resulting point is denoted by the letter Z.

the waist Line. Connecting the point W with the point In a slightly concave line.

The bottom line is. The horizontal line DG is the bottom line.

Drawing the front half of the pants

Drawing the front half of the pants has many common lines with the drawing of the back half, so you should draw some extra lines.

Line a medium slice. To defer from the points of intersection of a line medium cut rear halves of the pants with the upper horizontal cut is equal to half of the segment between point a and line a medium slice, and put an end 3. Then connect the point 3 with the point E of the concave line.

The waist line. The line runs horizontally AB between points 3 and B.

Tuck. At the waist line to make two Darts. From point 3 to the right to defer 4 to 6 cm and place the point I. From points And drop a vertical dotted line with a length of 6 - 8 see This line becomes a line mid-tuck.

Point And right and left along the waist line to delay 1 see plotting points connect the straight lines.

From point And delay 6 - 7 cm to the right at the waist line. Through this point draw a vertical line, which will be the middle of the second tuck. Tuck this build as the first.

Drawing the belt of the pants

To construct a rectangle, one side of which is equal to the length of the waist line of the front and rear halves of the pants minus the solutions tucks. The other side is 5 - 7 cm rectangle is denoted by the letters A, B, G, (Fig. 91).

Line the middle. Horizontal line BG extend to the left by 0.5 cm point Installed to connect slanted line with a point A, thus forming a line mid-belt in front.

The lateral line zone. From point To bottom vertically put 2 - 3 cm. Obtained point to connect with point B, as shown in the figure.

Waistline is a horizontal line AB.

Drawing the cuffs of the pants

Cuff pajama pants have the shape of a rectangle with length equal to the width of the bottom of the pants. Cuff width 3 to 4 cm in the Corners of the rectangle are designated by letters of ABHV (Fig. 92).

Cuffs can be cut out together with the front and rear halves of the pants.

Cutting pajamas

When cutting pajamas fabric needs to be folded twice as common thread. First, lay out the pattern of the jacket, then trousers. Between the main parts for free fabric lay out the finer details. So lay out the pattern if the fabric is plain or printed. If the fabric is striped, all pattern pieces should be spread in the same direction.

The cuffs of the pants and sleeves, pockets should be cut from one piece of fabric with the binding seam. If stripe, then the cuffs of the pants and sleeveless jackets better to find a in the transverse direction, which gives the product a more pleasing appearance.

In addition, the cuffs of the pants and sleeves can be made from another color of fabric, what is a good finish.

When cutting children's sleepwear should be borne in mind that pajama bottoms should be as less as possible seams to the seams didn't bother the child. The layout pattern on the fabric shown in Fig. 93. When cutting fabric you should leave the seam in the range of 1.5 - 2 cm Cut in the fabric should be strictly along the contour lines.

Sewing pajamas

After cutting the fabric you can start sewing jackets and pajama pants.

When sewing of jacket seams lapped mostly do.

The bottom of the jacket zastrugivajut itagiba the seam of a width not exceeding 2 cm.

Collar and podvorotni metiaut, Posiva upper collar in the corners, then grind to a distance of 0.5 cm from the trimming edge. The corners of the collar are cut, to avoid thickening at the corners. Straighten the seam on two sides. Collar turn and spawn, forming the edge of the upper collar. The finished collar after proterivanja umatyvaet in the neck (Fig. 94), combining mid-podvorotnya with the middle of the back, and the ends of the collar with nasecki on the neckline shelves. Cut the edge of the upper collar bends 0.5 cm and scribbled. The buttons sew on the right shelf, and overcast loop on the left shelf. If the jacket is collarless, the neckline trim with bias binding of the same or a different fabric.

Fold cuff details right sides inside, grind, turn, spawn, priorivet and primetyvajut to the sleeve, folding the front side podmenili with the underside of the sleeve. Then prostrachivajut the cuff at a distance of 0.5 cm from the edge, then cut the end of the cuff bends inwards at 0.5 cm and prostrachivajut cuff edge from the front side.

Umatyvaet sleeve into armhole, placing the highest point of the crown of the sleeve at a distance of 1 cm from the shoulder seam to the side shelves. When matiwane need to do a little planting of crown sleeves. Stachivaya sleeves, side sleeves, and seam edging vrachevanie oblique stripe of satin or other fabric.

Patch pockets made of cotton fabric, make unlined. Folded top edge towards the inside by 2 - 2.5 cm, primetyvajut it, and then prostrachivajut. Side edges and the bottom of the pocket bends 1 cm and priorivet. Ready pockets on the planned lines on the shelves namachivajut and scribbled. If a jacket fill in trousers, pocket scribbled at the top only on the left shelf. If the jacket is designed for wear over trousers, then at the bottom on both shelves scribbled patch pockets.

Belt for jacket, worn over trousers, have only on the back. Belt make 3 cm wide and If the belt feature around the waist, then its width should be no more than 2 cm.

Buttons (Fig. 95) on pants for a boy sew on the right side of the cut from the waist down. On the jacket for boy buttons sew on the right shelf, and on the jacket for the girl on the left shelf. On another shelf, overcast loop.

For children under 2 years of age typically the pants are strapped to the jacket. To this end the jacket at the waist line sew buttons, and the pants overcast loop.

Cuff pajama pants or make from stock to length, pritachivajut or made separately.
