Processes the wet-heat treatment of details of clothing

THE PURPOSE OF THE WET-HEAT TREATMENT

Wet-heat treatment of details of clothing is crucial and takes about 18 - 20 % of the total processing time of products. Under high temperature and water wool fibers acquire such properties which can give the fabric the desired shape (stretch, shrink). Wet-heat treatment can be performed with irons, elektroprenos, steam presses, steam-air dummies. When you remove moisture from the fibers of the heated surface of the iron or press clips attached to the fabric form, which is retained in the finished product.

Wet-heat treatment may be in-process and finishing (final).

In-process wet-heat processing is performed in the manufacture of individual parts or assemblies of clothes and has a different purpose: giving a convex or concave shape parts (stivania the edges of the shelves for receiving a bulge in the chest area and back in the blades, etc.), razoruzheniye seams to reduce their thickness, formation of wrinkles or the lines on the parts to get a certain effect on the fabric (pleats, etc.) and

Finishing wet-heat treatment is used for attaching the derived forms in the process of machining parts and lends a finished presentation. Finishing wet-heat treatment are: the final proterivanje parts of the finished product; pressing the sides, collar, hem, and shoulder seams; the steam parts in the field of education Las etc.

of TECHNICAL CONDITIONS ON performance of WET-HEAT PROCESSING

1. Wet-heat treatment is produced with pre-wetting the surface of the workpiece or finished products. Moisture contributes to the rapid heating of the fibers and penetration of heat into the inner layers of fabric For uniform dispersion of moisture on the fabric used humidifiers - spray guns or dispensers operating from the water network. Humidifiers of various designs made of stainless metal or other material.

2. When the wet-heat treatment of fabrics with chemical fibers, the moisture should be minimal, since excessive moisture causes a change in the coloring of fabrics (the appearance of bright or dark spots, yellowing, etc.).

3. Products made from fabrics of natural silk and viscose, as well as containing acetate, moisturize only in the case of the fabric without moisture poorly treatable by iron or press.

4. When the wet-heat processing with the irons used various pads are made from hard wood (oak, maple, birch). Shapes and sizes of pads (Fig. 10) depend on the nature of the operations and type of product.

5. To protect the fibers from damage (opal) wet-heat treatment of parts and finished products is performed through an Ironing strip (protozilla) from neopredelennoi linen or semi-linen fabrics, as it better absorbs moisture than finished, and less susceptible to combustion when in contact with the hot surface of the iron or press. During the processing of some types of fabrics (drape cloth) allowed an in-process wet-heat processing with the inside parts without proteinlike.

6. When the wet-heat treatment of fabrics with chemical fibers as proteinlike it is recommended to use a soft fabric with fleece: stories, flannel, etc.

7. Using the wet-heat treatment straighten the edges, the seams and shape of the parts, and remove deposited on the fabric the moisture and eliminate irregularities in the treated areas, samini, stretch, etc.

8. In the pressing process should not allow creases (Semenov) tissues, as they are difficult or not eliminated by repeated pressing.

9. When the wet-heat treatment of tissues from high pressure and high temperature of individual sections of the product become unwanted Shine, called Las. The emergence of Las result of the formation of smooth, densely compressed areas of fibers, which, in the process Ironing items are recorded (fixed) in a certain position. The degree of occurrence of Las is dependent on temperature, pressure and structure of the processed fabrics. Lasy off short-term exposure to jets of steam of overstitching special apparatus the OAS-2 or iron through a moist protohellenic.

10. After the final wet-heat processing of the finished product needs to be dried or cooled in the suspended form until the complete fixing to give them shape. The duration of drying of products made of different materials is (min): coat of woolen fabric 50 - 75 cotton fabric 30 - 40; suit wool fabric 30 - 40, cotton fabric 20 - 25.
