Single-joint and double seam flared skirt

One-piece flared skirt

To calculate such a skirt (Fig. 96) you will need the following measurements (in cm):

— Perspiration (38);

Du (70).

Make also an increase in free fit:

— F (increase in waist line) — 1.

First of all, you need to calculate the radius of the recess to the waist. To do this, use the following formula: R = (Pot + Fri) : 3 x 2 – 2 = (38 + 1) : 3 x 2 – 2 = 24 see

If fabric width is 96 cm, you'll need two lengths of the skirt plus two radius cut waist plus 5-6 cm Fold the fabric across the front to the inside. From the corner A (Fig. 97) found a radius of the arc swipe from the edge to crease the fabric.

Increase the recess depth 1 cm common thread and 2 cm lateral. Due to this the tails of the line will be uniformly positioned.

Connect the dots 1 and 2 cm with a smooth curve. This will be the upper section of the skirt. Aside from the upper edge of the skirt length with allowance for bending the bottom (2-3 cm). The seam should be positioned in front or back.

If the fabric is already 96 cm, it may not be enough for the skirt length. In this case, you must pritchet on the bottom of the extension. Find it out one layer of fabric and connect it to the main part of the common thread. It should be noted that to sew a skirt with an extension of fabric with one-way direction of the pile (not shown) or from a fabric with an asymmetrical cage is not recommended because the pattern at the seam will be located in different directions.

Baste and sew the slices. The seam should not reach the upper edge of 16-20 cm and Then sewn sections and apply the clasp. Treat the top of your skirt with a belt or grosgrain braid, slightly propositiva cut. Please try on, then hem the bottom and Tutuila skirt.

This model is universal and should be in every woman's wardrobe. It can be worn with a blouse and a jacket with an open top.

Double seam flared skirt

In fabric width 96 cm you will need two lengths of the skirt plus two radius cut waist plus 6-8 cm

Before you cut out the fabric, align it to the cut on the transverse strands, this will help to avoid stress. Lay the matter unfolded wrong side up.

In the same way as when cutting one-piece skirt is flared, draw a line the upper edge. Aside from her, the skirt length and place the bottom (Fig. 98).

Vykroyte the first panel and get it cut to the opposite corner of the fabric face down. Vykroyte it a second panel of the skirt. Baste the cut common thread with cut by a transverse filament. Seams should be placed at the sides. Treat the product as well as a one - piece flared skirt.
